Originally from Boston, Kristen (or KOS) has spent half her life in the UK. After an extensive career weaving between news, documentary film, multimedia and post-production sectors, Kristen decided to pursue an MA in documentary photography from London College of Communication in 2015. She enjoys promoting and connecting talented creatives with various organisations and projects. Kristen is an avid photobook collector inspired by the intersection of text and photography, (e.g. Larry Sultan’s ‘Pictures from Home’). Her own photographic style has evolved from documentary to something more poetic and personal but she also enjoys the humour of street photography. Kristen’s self-published book, ‘Entre Chien et Loup’ on living in Provincetown, Cape Cod dune shacks was inspired by Joel Meyerowitz’s ‘Cape Light’ and romantic naturalist writer Henry Beston’s ‘Outermost House’.
